Chin Implants can provide a subtle yet striking result
I can’t tell you how many times people ask me which of the countless procedures I perform is guaranteed to give the best results. And while I shy away from giving any kind of guarantee, here’s what I will say. Patients who opt for a chin implant almost universally love their result.
Receiving a chin implant, or “chinplant” as the mainstream media has recently dubbed the procedure, is one of the most subtle ways to greatly improve your facial appearance. Yet, through the years I’ve always been frustrated that we haven’t helped more people with a chin implant. That might be changing.
We’re seeing a rise in Chin Implant patients
A few weeks ago The Week magazine reported that chin implants “shot up 71 percent last year,” with more than 21,000 Americans having chin implants last year. But a closer look at the numbers reveals that there are most likely thousands more who could benefit from a chin implant. How do I know that?
I don’t know for sure, but I feel confident making that statement by comparing that number to the totals for other popular procedures. Consider this: More than 300,000 women had breast augmentation last year. And more than 5.7 million Botox treatments were administered last year. If that many people are interested in those procedures, there have to be thousands more potential chin implant patients.
My concern is that most people either don’t know that chin implants even exist or don’t know just how much benefit they could receive from a simple little procedure.
Get educated on the Chin Implant, or “Chinplant”
The implant is generally inserted via a small, hidden incision either inside the lower lip or underneath the chin. And you can be in and out of the office in less than two hours. Think about it. Take two hours our of your day, at an affordable price, and you can leave with a more confident, stronger profile, which could be hugely important in your professional life.
The Week report I mentioned earlier reported that 90 percent of Fortune 500 CEOs have pronounced jaws. As do many of our Presidents. Think Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, both have strong jaw lines.
In my studies as a cosmetic surgeon, I’ve done a great deal of research about how your face directly relates to the success of your everyday human communications. If you’re confident in your face, you’ll be confident in your everyday relationships, on both personal and business levels.
A Chin Implant can be perfect compliment to Botox treatment
Because of my findings and other factors, I’ve always said Botox is the number one cosmetic procedure we have today, and I’ll continue to stand by that statement. But a chin implant can be a remarkable compliment to your Botox treatments.
We’ve all heard someone say, “Wow, that blouse is so nice, it really makes your eyes pop.” It’s the same premise with a chin implant. A chin implant can really make other features of your face “pop.” It can help enhance the appearance of other cosmetic procedures like Botox, facial fillers and laser resurfacing. It can help with your makeup application. It can help your smile.
Maybe you’re looking for a new job. Maybe you’re fighting for a promotion. Maybe you just want to be noticed somewhere, somehow. A chin implant is a quick, affordable, way to get a fresh, yet subtle, new look that will send your self confidence through the roof.
