The Best Non-Invasive Cosmetic Procedures For Your Big Day

Published by Leon Tcheupdjian

Everyone deserves to look amazing on their wedding day. Since diet, exercise and moisturizers can only do so much to tone your appearance, many will turn to non-invasive cosmetic procedures before their wedding.

At the Liposuction & Cosmetic Surgery Institute we understand how important it is to look perfect for your big day and we want to help. Our practice provides a variety of non-invasive services you can get in the days or weeks leading up to your wedding.

Here are five non-invasive, cosmetic treatments that you should fit into your wedding plans.

Botox®

Botox® is a non-invasive procedure that has become increasingly popular in the last 20 years or so with brides-to-be, as well as other ladies in the wedding party, including the mother-of-the-bride and the mother-in-law to be. It provides a very quick and easy way to correct fine lines and wrinkles that may have developed on your face, as well as a means of adding volume to areas of your face and neck.

So, when to get botox before your wedding? While it is a quick and easy procedure, we strongly recommend that you undergo the procedure at least one to two months before your wedding, giving your skin time to heal just in case there’s any bruising or inflammation. That also allows ample time for additional injections, if needed, before your big day.

Facial Fillers

Many brides consider facial fillers, like Juvéderm® or Restylane®, to plump up their lips and fill in lines around the mouth and eyes. These fillers can also be used to plump up the face if it sagging or sinking a bit due to the loss of skin volume or age. We recommend that you schedule an appointment for fillers at least four weeks before your wedding to allow time for healing.

Thread Face Lift

A thread face lift is a non-invasive procedure in which specially designed sutures are placed under the skin to tighten facial skin and eliminate sags and wrinkles. The procedure usually takes less than an hour and is performed using only a local anesthetic.

RF/microneedling

The RF stands for radio frequency, and this procedure involves a combination of radio frequency waves and tiny needles to rejuvenate the skin. It can be used to correct fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, enlarged pores, scars from surgery or accidents, hyperpigmentation, and sagging skin, among others.

The procedure can usually be completed in 10 to 20 minutes, and while there is no down time, you will need to wear protective sunscreen while your skin heals.

CoolSculpting®

This procedure uses controlled bursts of cooling to destroy fat cells that your body will absorb and eliminate through waste. CoolSculpting® can help you have a more toned and youthful appearance. The targeted areas are most commonly the belly, sides, thighs, and lower back, and the procedure usually takes about an hour for each targeted body area.
