At the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute and Longevity Spa, we understand that skincare should be ever-evolving, and that includes how we treat and maintain our skin with cleansers, creams, exfoliators, serums and peeling agents. With that in mind, we’re announcing some exciting changes to our skincare line.
Leslie Forrester, APRN & Our Very Own Wrinkle Fairy
First, you’ll begin to notice in the coming weeks that all cosmeceuticals offered in our practice are shifting to the “Wrinkle Fairy” brand. The Wrinkle Fairy branding has taken on a life of its own thanks to the grassroots word-of-mouth spread among the patient base belonging to the Wrinkle Fairy herself, our head nurse practitioner injector, Leslie Forrester, APRN. The nickname “Wrinkle Fairy” was bestowed upon Leslie by her patients, and further cultivated by her strong patient following during the last several years. By rebranding our cosmeceutical line under the Wrinkle Fairy name, we’ve created further synergy between Leslie’s procedural offerings and her at-home skincare recommendations.
Product Name Changes
Now that we’ve announced the shift in branding to Wrinkle Fairy (away from Dermagenesis), we thought it would be important to announce some individual product name changes. Many of our most popular cosmeceutical products have undergone name changes. To keep things as simple and straightforward as possible, please refer to the chart below to see if a personal favorite is changing names (each new name is linked to the corresponding page in our online store, where you can learn more about each product and purchase for shipment directly to you without having to visit our practice):
New Name | Old Name |
Brilliant Hydration | Intense Hydration |
Dream Cream | Night Stem |
AquaBoost | Hydroboost |
Neck Lyft | Neck and Decollete Firming Cream |
Retinol Smoothing Body Lotion | Therapeutic Firming Body Lotion |
Enriched Eye Zone | Completely new, higher intensity Eye Zone* |
Bright Eyes | Dark Circles |
Crystal Clear Cleanser | Brightening Exfoliator Polish |
Solaris Body | Solaris Pure |
Baby Face Pads | ReGen Pads |
Acne-X Pads | GenX Pads |
Acne Body Spray Max | GenX Spray Max |
Healing Silver | Completely new healing cream |
*Note that “Eye Zone” will remain an integral member of our line. The new Enriched Eye Zone is a completely new offering in our practice and adds in hyaluronic acid to the product, which penetrates deep into the dermal layer and keeps the skin hydrated. Also present in the Enriched Eye Zone is the lightening agent, niacinamide. Thus, we recommend the Enriched Eye Zone for clients who have sensitive, dry skin. Clients who have oily skin should stick with traditional Eye Zone.
No Changes in Composition
Also, note that nothing about the chemical composition of the products has changed. If you’re familiar with one of the products in the “Old Name” column, rest assured that the only thing that has changed is the name itself. We made these changes for various different reasons, whether it be differentiating from other products (both internally and externally), or better describing the goals of the product itself.
New Healing Ointment
New to the line is our healing ointment, Healing Silver, which is fortified with micronized elemental silver. Healing Silver can facilitate healing and speed up recovery time for dry, cracked skin, or minor cuts, scrapes and abrasions. It is free of dyes, fragrances and preservatives. This product can be extremely beneficial to healing after procedures that peel or irritate the skin in any way.
