Solar Panels keep my office green
As a doctor, I understand the biological side of our world, and that’s one of the reasons I’ve always attempted to keep my offices as “green” as possible. Hot button issues like global warming and energy conservation are high on my radar.
With all of these issues in mind, I’ve installed solar panels atop my offices in an effort to reduce the energy needed to power my practices. The Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute is the first medical group of its kind that we know of in the Chicagoland area to add solar panels in an effort to reduce the energy needed to power our practices.
I invest in all the latest technologies, and it was time to turn that investment to the energy
We invest in all kinds of new hi-tech equipment for our patients and our practice. It was time to invest in our environment and our grandchildren. I consistently preach to my patients about the danger of the sun on their complexions. It was time to use those dangerous rays of the sun on something positive. The sun can be helpful and harmful, and we felt by being the first practice with multiple locations to use the benefits of the sun we were indeed taking a negative and turning it into a positive.
In fact, during months of prolonged sun exposure during the summer, my solar panels create more energy than I can use. But that extra energy doesn’t go to waste. The panels are sophisticated enough to actually shoot any excess energy back into the grid so my neighbors can use this electricity, which helps alleviate the stress put on all the fancy transformers that deliver our energy.
Today, the aesthetic medicine industry is constantly adding new ways to enhance and restore youthful beauty. To this day, the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute has built their success by taking care of people from all walks of life, from hard-working professional women, to overworked stay-at-home moms, to white collar executives. By always striving to work with the masses the Liposuction and Cosmetic Surgery Institute is continuously working to find new and better techniques that are also affordable for everyone. It was this philosophy that led us to solar panels, which puts us on the cutting edge of technology, while doing our best to support the community and our patients.
