What Is A Natural Breast Augmentation?

Published by Leon Tcheupdjian

While it’s thought that a breast augmentation requires an implant to be inserted into the body, that’s not always the case. A natural breast augmentation, also known as a fat transfer breast augmentation, is a surgical procedure where the body’s fat cells are taken from one area of the body, and injected into the breasts.

This procedure is ideal for clients looking to slightly enhance the appearance of their breasts without saline or silicone gel implants.

How We Conduct Our Natural Looking Breast Augmentation Procedure

Following a client’s consultation and prior to the procedure, a breast examination must be conducted. This is to ensure both breasts are able to undergo augmentation. All medical conditions must be noted prior to surgery. Conditions that affect the body’s endocrine system must be under control before augmentation can begin.

On the day of a client’s procedure, the doctor will mark several areas around the breast that they will focus on enhancing. Similar to the liposuction procedure, the client will then be put under using general anesthesia or a local sedation lidocaine. Minor liposuction will then be performed on the area of the body where fat will be transferred from. These areas include but are not limited to the abdominal area, buttocks, or thighs.

Prior to injecting the fat into the breasts, the doctor will be placed in a special container that singles out the stem-cell-rich fat cells. Doing this will not only increase the volume of the breast once the procedure is complete, but it will also allow them to prosper for years later.

Through two small incisions, the doctor will insert several ounces of the stem-cell-rich fat into each breast so they appear full and naturally voluptuous. The incisions will be approximately 1 to 1.5 centimeters long and will fade with time.

It should also be noted that while a slight lift might occur during this procedure, a breast lift and augmentation are completely different, but can be performed at the same time.

This fat transfer procedure is a great solution for a subtle increase in size, but should not be considered an absolute replacement of augmentation involving implants. For a more pronounced appearance and increase in your breast size and shape, we highly recommend that clients opt for our implant-based augmentation instead.

The Recovery Process

Once the procedure is complete, a compression bra will be put on you and serve as a bandage. Clients will rest for one to two hours at the institute before departing home to do the same. The initial recovery time for a breast augmentation is about two to three days, but it can take between seven and 10 days to be considered a full recovery.

Bruising, swelling and soreness are expected during recovery, but you should reach out to your medical team if you experience any significant pain or persistent swelling.

That means clients can shower, apply makeup and perform normal activities after about 48 hours.

Getting a breast lift and augmentation at the same time, means that recovery will take a few extra days to initially heal and then fully recover. Ultimately, strenuous activities like exercising and lifting heavy objects should be avoided until the client is healed.
