The Procedure

Recovery
Most breast augmentation patients recover from surgery after 4-6 weeks.
If you undergo breast augmentation, you will likely be able to return to work within 1-2 weeks. It’s important not to lift anything heavy, take part in strenuous activity, or overexert yourself until you’re fully recovered.
Immediately after surgery, small drainage tubes may need to be placed to help your body eliminate excess fluid over the next few days.
As you are healing, you will be required to wear a surgical bra for a specified duration to help support your breasts while they heal. Bruising, swelling, and tenderness is normal and may last for up to 5 weeks.
Who is an Ideal Candidate for Breast Augmentation?
