Using concentrated pulses of laser light, this treatment destroys all hair follicles in the laser's beam, and inhibits re-growth in a non-invasive, virtually painless way. The system is extremely flexible and eliminates hair on most skin tones and hair colors on any body part.
How is Laser Hair Removal performed?
The areas to be treated are first covered with a clear gel to enhance the effects of the laser. Laser pulses are then applied to the skin via a hand piece. The gel is wiped off along with most of the hair in the treated area; remaining hair will fall out within the next 1-2 weeks.
Our pulsed laser has a wavelength designed to concentrate exclusively on hair follicles without damaging surrounding tissue, although the area treated may be red for a few days after each treatment. You can return to work immediately after the procedure, but must avoid exposing the area to sunlight.
