The problem:

Some patients have inadequate breast size, but do not want to implant foreign objects into their bodies (breast implants). Breast augmentation by fat injection in Chicago is also ideal for patients who also have an abundance of fat in other parts of the body and want this fat to be extracted. This fat can then be transferred into the breasts to enhance the breast naturally.

The solution:

1) Surgical removal of excess fat by liposuction

2) Fat transfer breast augmentation in Chicago by injection after liposuction into both breasts

Before Surgery:

A thorough breast examination will be performed. In some cases a mammogram is necessary. Any associated medical problems, such as diabetes and hypertension must be under control. All blood thinning medications such as aspirin and ibuprofen, should be stopped one week prior to the procedure. Abstaining from tobacco and alcohol at least two days, preferably longer, prior to procedure is advised.

The Procedure:

Before breast augmentation by fat injection in Chicago several markings are placed on the skin where liposuction will be performed. The extracted fat is accumulated on the sterile condition in a special container. The stem-cell-rich fat cells are separated from the unwanted component of the extracted fat. It is this stem-cell-rich fat cells that are injected back into the patient’s breasts. There may be up to two tiny incisions on each breast. A compression bra is used as a bandage. After the patient rests for an hour or two in the recovery room, she will be discharged to rest at home for the remainder of the day.

After surgery:

Rest, no exertion for a few days. Aspirin and smoking not allowed. May shower 48 hours post surgery.
