A small amount of blood is drawn from the patient in our office

WHAT IS IT IN OUR BLOOD THAT MAKES PRP?

Our blood contains three types of cells, red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells of many types (WBC) and small cells known as platelets, which contain all the healing and regenerating tissue growth factors. It is the platelets that we selectively extract and concentrate then activate prior to injecting in your scalp for hair regrowth. We find TruPRP very useful as both an adjuvant in hair transplantation surgery and for the non surgical treatment of male and female hair loss.

No, we use only TruPRP ™, an advanced double centrifugation technology that is cable of achieving the highest concentration of platelets and “biologic active growth factors” possible from your blood. There are many other inexpensive PRP systems that are not nearly as advanced asTruPRP ™ , many of which will not activate nearly enough PRP to be effective.
