ULTHERA / ULTHERAPY
Ulthera is a non-invasive, no-down time Specialized Ultrasonic device that utilizes focused ultrasound energy to lift, tighten the skin on the face and neck, upper chest, eyes, forehead, crows feet and sagging skin possibly anywhere in the body.
We are the first to introduce Ulthera to Chicagoland
Age brings wisdom, with it comes unwanted aging lines in our face. It also causes the skin and underlying muscles of the face, neck, forehead, cheeks, jaw line to loosen, sag and slump. Other than face-lift, which is still the treatment of choice in many cases, we have a new alternative Ulthera.
“Ulthera is a non-invasive FDA approved Non-surgical, non-invasive, no downtime device that uses focused ultrasound energy to lift the face, neck and eyes” Says Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian MD.
What does it do in medical or scientific terms: It uses a focused ultrasound beam to cause sub-dermal coagulation deep below the skin in the sagging facial muscle layers causing them to shrink and tighten.
During treatment, the Ulthera hand piece fires hundreds of caucused Ultrasonic points to heat and coagulate the underlying deep layers below the skin to heat and promote collagen growth, while leaving the surface unaffected. The neo-genesis of this new collagen both lifts and tightens the entire treated area of the face or the body.
Treatment with Ulthera is called Ultherapy. It is used for cosmetic purpose only to rejuvenate and tighten the neck and the jaw line, eliminate turkey neck, regain youthful sleek neck appearance. It also helps sagging lower eyelids and lateral brows.
Ultrasound is sonic energy that is above the hearing limits of humans.
Ultherapy is FDA approved for building collagen under the skin to lift facial tissues. Ulthera was cleared for this purpose in 2009.
Key benefits of Ulthera (Ultherapy)

Recommended age range
For a Patients who are younger than 55 they may need one treatment session but it can be used any age some patients may require more than one treatment others may require a follow up with e-matrix. Please read the e-matrix section in this web site. The older the person, the slower the body in remodeling the collagen in the deep structures hence more treatments or e-matrix or face-lift or eyelid surgery.
In the video above, Dr. Leon Forrester Tcheupdjian, M.D. discusses the medical breakthrough in non-surgical facial skin tightening known as Ulthera, or Ultherapy.
